SalonAI ("we", "us") provides a web-based tool that helps US local beauty salon owners generate social media captions and Google review replies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address, password (stored hashed), and optional name.
• Salon profile data: store name, city, business type, brand tone, sign-off, and optional phone number.
• Content you submit: marketing themes, review text, and generated outputs.
• Payment information: card and billing details are collected and processed by our third-party payment provider (Merchant of Record). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Usage data: generation history, plan type, and basic server logs for security and debugging.

How we use your information

• Provide and improve the SalonAI service.
• Generate social posts and review replies based on your inputs.
• Manage subscriptions, quotas, and billing through our payment provider.
• Respond to support requests and prevent abuse or fraud.

AI processing

When AI mode is enabled, your inputs may be sent to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) solely to generate your requested content. We do not sell your salon data to third parties. Do not submit sensitive personal information about your clients in review text fields.

Data retention

We retain your account data and generation history while your account is active so you can view past content. You may request account deletion by contacting us. Some billing records may be retained as required by law or payment processors.

Security

We use industry-standard practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
